VLOG certified establishments must meet the requirements of the VLOG standard, such as:
- Crisis management for the treatment of infringements and Genetically Modified Organisms
- Dedicated circuit for non-GMO products
- Traceability of goods and animals
- Carrying out GMO samples and analyses (according to field of activity and risk)…..
The analyses must be carried out by a VLOG certified laboratory in order to ensure an identical approach to the analysis of GMOs as well as a standard procedure.
Today, the UPSCIENCE laboratory network is able to support producers exporting products labelled GMO-free to Germany for food or feed. Indeed, our technical competence center in molecular biology AdGène laboratory is certified VLOG since January 07, 2022 for the detection of GMOs
